!±8± Russian Space Pen. 5 Pieces. PENN-2201
It is not actually a 'space pen' but a good old fashioned pencil. But it works perfectly writing upside down and in space! The Russian Space Pen was supposed to the the Russians' answer to the NASA project to create a pen that would write in zero gravity, and was supposed to have cost over a million dollars. The Russians merely sent their astronauts into space with a pencil! A gentleman by the name of Paul Fisher did ultimately develop a pressurized pen for use by both NASA astronauts but both American and Soviet sapce missions used pencils, NASA did not seek out Fisher and ask him to develop a "Space Pen" and Fisher did not charge NASA for the cost of developing the pen.
